Andrew Enders, Esq.

Andrew Enders is a recovering attorney. In August 2011, Andy hung up his badge and broke out his insurance license. After 5 years with the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office serving under Hon. Edward M. Marsico, Jr., Andy returned to the family business.

First, Andy developed the goal to educate his clients about diagnosing risk. Then, it is all about determining the right coverage and implementing the best program. Working closely with the client lets Andy build a relationship that is hyper-focused on the client. Best of all, he can break down the coverage into easy-to-understand terms.

The team at Enders has always been a place to find just about any type of insurance, but a little specialization never hurts. Andy has taken the lead on learning the vital aspects of risk management for the craft beverage industry (Vineyards/Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries) through utilization of special programs just for this type of business. Need help with insurance for your brewery? Andy can help! Additionally, with his legal background and training, professional services, human services, and non profits can all benefit from his expertise.

Community Engagement

Andy serves as President of the Dauphin County Library System (DCLS) Board of Trustees. . Andy takes great pride in sharing the wealth of information available through the DCLS with the community. Andy served as President of Harrisburg Young Professionals in 2016. Since that time, Andy joined the Shining Light Thrift Shop Board of Directors and has previously served on the St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church Parish Council. Rounding out a commitment to community is a spot on the Harrisburg Area YMCA Board of Directors.

When not at the office or in the field, you’ll find Andy at home in Midtown Harrisburg with his wife, Megan. Together, they share a passion for Zooey, Penn State,  a steady stream of music in their home (always up for swapping records), and volunteering with Keystone Human Services. If you’re up for it, take a spin around the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – help them end blood cancers.

In the September 2014 issue of theBurg, Andy was provided with the opportunity to share his thoughts on living and working within Harrisburg. Read more here: Insuring Community: Property pride is a key component of a healthy city.
