You’re probably thinking, what is CISR? CISR is an insurance industry specific designation that is awarded to professionals who complete an intense series of classes and exams on varied insurance topics. Okay, great, but what is it?

The full name, Certified Insurance Service Representative, provides some clarity, don’t you think? This program is tailored to specific geographic regions of the country in order to match the curriculum to state law. Courses include Personal Residential property, Life & Health Essentials, Commercial Casualty, and much more. Basically, once an insurance professional completes the program, they become an insurance customer service guru. When you’re dealing with a CISR, you can be comfortable knowing that you are dealing with a real professional!
