Andrew Rutherford, CFP®

Andrew is a Susquehanna Township native who started his career in Charlotte, NC.  After earning a degree in Kinesiology, with dual minors in Business and Coaching from James Madison University, Andrew went on to earn a Masters of Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina.

After 8 years into his career, Andrew and his family moved back to Pennsylvania and we’re so glad he did. Having a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, Andrew focuses the core of his professional services on Life Insurance, Supplemental Benefits, and Health Insurance. Budgeting and reviewing the ever-changing financial climate are just two of the many tasks that Andrew tackles with his clients. Andrew is the expert you need on your team.

Andrew says the most enjoyable part of his job at Enders is the conversations he has with people he helps. Since insurance is about planning for the future, his ability to have those forward-looking conversations with all different types of people is interesting and exciting. Business Owners discussing expansion and employee retention, young families planning for the future, and retirees discussing life after “work” are some of his favorites.

Andrew, his wife Marie, and two children reside in Susquehanna Township. He is treasurer for the Hanna Foundation, a non-profit with a mission to provide equitable access to an innovative educational experience for the students of Susquehanna Township School District. He’s also a board member for the Capital Area Soccer Association (CASA) and a former board member of Capital Area Girls on the Run. Andrew continues to participate in organized sports, including playing soccer, coaching his son’s soccer team, and playing golf. He is a member at The Country Club of Harrisburg.
