Paula Bayer

Paula comes to us after spending a career teaching Mathematics at Central Dauphin School District. When asked what she likes about her new career in Insurance, her reply was that she most enjoys working alongside some amazing co-workers as a team to service the needs of our clients. She is committed to making sure our clients thoroughly know their coverages and options – “It gives me pleasure to assist a client’s understanding of the various aspects of their policies by translating ‘insurance-speak’ into a basic understanding.” She likes that every day presents new challenges and opportunities for her to help others.  

Her community involvement includes singing and playing flute with the Holy Name of Jesus Guitar Choir (since 1988!) and acting as the Statistician for the Central Dauphin High School Girls Basketball team. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and all things outdoors like camping, hiking, kayaking, and bicycling – saying that being out in nature refreshes her soul.  But she is most happy when together with her family.

Fun fact: Paula was born in Puerto Rico while her father was stationed at Ramey Air Force Base.  But she quickly added, “mi español es muy limitado!”

One of her favorite quotes comes from Mother Teresa, ‘“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.”
