Susan Masone

Susan enjoys working in the insurance industry for several reasons. She appreciates the important role insurance plays in people’s financial well-being, providing a safety net for the things that matter most. She also enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues, making every day different. And she particularly likes the combination of insurance resources and technology, which allows her to help customize solutions to meet each client’s individual needs.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has a particular appreciation for the arts, including film, theatre, literature, and music, and enjoys exploring subjects ranging from history and health to exercise, food, and animals.

Susan’s professional background includes working as a project manager alongside network architects and software engineers to deliver business solutions for AT&T. She has also worked as a licensed private writing tutor, helping high school students prepare for state assessment testing.

There’s a fun side to Susan, too. She loves dancing with her kids to DJ house music at clubs in Philadelphia, has participated in community theatre, and has visited Stonehenge. Her favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz, and one of her favorite lines from the film is, “Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.” For Susan, it’s a wonderfully understated observation about how often life changes—and a good reminder to enjoy the journey.
